I want to thank you for continuing on in the recounting of this amazing mission trip. I must begin with a slight disclaimer. I had to take a couple days off from writing. I apologize for the delay and hope it does not take away from the support I have received.
This past Sunday, I woke in the early hours of the night with extreme stomach pain. Long story short, I eneded up have a severly inflamed, stone filled Gallbladder removed on Sunday afternoon. Thank you all for your prayers and support. Now, back to the trip, day four.
Day four began with a visit to the Church of the Holy Spirit, Mae Usu. There was a very large Youth event that day for the young people and we were treated to a visit to the mae Usu Cave. This is a very wide cave that, as we were told, if traversed for about 45 minutes, you would come out on the other side of the mountain.

After Mae Usu, we headed off for a visit a short visit to St. Luke’s. We then headed back to the Guest House for an afternoon of much needed rest. On the way back, we did stop by a local market and grab some ice cream. It was a pretty hot day.

Check out day 5 as I will catch up the blog.
God bless you all and thank you for your prayers and support
In His Name, Father Jason Bowden
